Phoenix speakers to talk about overcoming addictions
The Phoenix Centre is making its annual general meeting a community event this year by bringing in two guest speakers and op omega watches ening the doors to anyone interested.
On tap are Dan Carter and Richard Wagamese, both of whom will talk about how they overcame addictions and obstacles in their lives.
Carter is coming from Ontario. He almost lost his life to a 20 omega watches year addiction to drugs and alcohol.
Wagamese has been living at Paul Lake for several years with his wife, Debra Powell.
The actual AGM will be kept short so the focus can be put on the spe omega watches akers.
The cost is $35 for adults and $25 for students with photo identification. The fee is to cover the costs to bring in the speakers.
